Our last day in London was spent doing one of the most fun, commemorative activities we planned to celebrate 15 years together: a couple’s photo session! We worked with Siobhan Watts. I would now recommend this type of experience to everyone to remember these special memories and seasons of life!
I met Siobhan through a friend (check out her photography website here!), and we connected a few months before our trip to talk about my ideas for the photo session. We instantly clicked, and I’m so glad to call her a friend now. She took our ideas and ran with them. I told her that London and traveling have both become such important parts of our life, and to celebrate our growth and commitment to one another, I wanted her to capture is “in motion” as we moved throughout the city. I want to savor this time of our life, and how much we’ve learned.
We began at our fave hotel in Holborn (The Hoxton), and she snapped a few shots of us in the hotel restaurant. Then, we set off! We walked through Seven Dials (of course!!), hopped on the Tube, went all the way to St. Paul’s, walked across the Millennium Bridge over to the Tate Modern, and ended up on the south beach of the Thames. Siobhan worked so hard for us - so hard. She really went above and beyond. And the photos - well, they knocked me away. I’ll let them speak for themselves.
And if you’re interested, Siobhan wrote a post about this experience on her blog! Go over and give it a read.
