Our first year of marriage has come and gone, and I am so grateful. This year, we endured a lot of change, hardship, and more love than we could imagine. It really is amazing to be in a relationship where everyday, I find myself loving Spencer more than the day before. Everyday, he teaches me more about what love and commitment means. I am so thankful for him.
We had a year of amazing trips and opportunities. I changed jobs, and learned a lot about how to take care of myself. I started writing more, and have really invested myself in this blog. It has been paying off big time, both personally and professionally, and Spencer and I have really enjoyed watching that all unfold. From California to Boston, we had adventures. We took several tours of the Warner Bros. Studios (because I love film and my husband loves me!), I improved my skiing skills and Spencer tried out surfing again. We learned more about health, and it's importance in our lives. It's been a year of discovery for sure.
With all the reflecting that we've been doing in the last few days as we've celebrated our anniversary, we came to this realization of how young we really are in our marriage and that we are just getting started. Now that we're married, we're asking ourselves, what do we want this relationship to look like? How do we want it to grow? And how do the things in our past affect our relationship and where we're headed? Spencer is my best friend, and I am so excited to our second year and what will come about. I expect that we have some amazing times ahead of us, and I couldn't be happier to spend them with him.
I love you, Spencer. -Anne
